Summary
“It was nice meeting you today, Young master Venion.”
Cale was asking for a handshake.
Venion quietly stood there and looked at Cale. At that moment, one of Venion’s servants urgently approached them and whispered quietly to Venion. However, it was loud enough for everyone to hear.
“Young master, we have been delayed enough already.”
“...Do not interrupt a conversation between nobles.”
Venion looked down at his servant without a smile on his face, and the servant quickly bowed. Venion smiled once again as he grabbed Cale’s hand.
“I will just be on my way then, as I am very busy.”
When their hands were separating, a blinding light engulfed them all. Ron tried to get to his young master, and Choi Han unsheathed his sword, soon yelling for Cale — but the yell was left mid word when they all fell unconscious.
Sickening.
And, when they woke up, they weren't alone. Nor in the carriages, or somewhere recognizable.
Double sickening.
Were they doomed? Probably, yeah.
At least there's seats.

Summary
After two years of Cale's death, the children visit his grave.
On carries chrysanthemums, choosing them carefully to symbolize a farewell until their next meeting with their father. Even though she had accepted his death, the pain remained.
Hong, having thought thoroughly, chose lilies. He wanted his father to have a peaceful rebirth. Choi Han told him he buried the villagers in Harris Village with lilies, wishing them a next life full with happiness and health.
Finally, Raon brings apple pies, the dessert which he, On and Hong enjoyed with Cale when they required energy or their father was being stubborn, as always. In the first two years after his father's death, Raon had despised apple pies, their taste becoming detestable, provoking unconscious tears in his eyes. Nevertheless, after two years, his distaste for them persists.
