    Middle school was already hard enough for Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Cartman. It only got worse after a field trip to Dr. Mephesto’s lab, where the four ended up switching bodies.

    Kenny worries that his immortality won’t pass over to Stan. Stan thinks that Kyle hates him. Kyle doesn’t know how to live in his crushes body while his archenemy might ruin his life at any moment. Cartman can’t decide between this being the worst thing to happen to him, or the best opportunity to make Kyle’s life a living hell.

    The group must pretend like everything is normal, while they try to figure out a way to switch back and make sure that no one finds out.

    “What the hell?” Kyle murmured, grabbing at his throat as he heard the noise that came out. Now that definitely wasn’t his own voice. He knew whose voice that was. He had known that voice for all his life. Despite the recent drop due to puberty, he still knew that voice.

    That was Stan’s voice.

    And he was wearing Stan’s clothes.

    His eyes darted around the room, but he didn’t need to look too far before he found what he was dreading. Kyle had to stifle a scream as his eyes landed on it.

    His own body, lying passed out next to him.

    The boys of South Park are now in high school and life has never been harder. Kyle struggles to keep his friends together even as they seemed determined to come undone. Stan's long struggle with depression reaches new lows after his grandfathers death, a depression he tries desperately to keep hidden from his friends as he dances with alcoholism. Kenny battles his demons both old and new while simultaneously caring for his younger sister Karen and protecting Butters whose home life has become more abusive than ever. Craig fights to find a way to keep a reeling Tweek grounded after Tweek's return from rehab, and well... Cartman is Cartman, around to be as unsupportive as ever, that is until tragedy leaves him in desperate need of support himself.
    Friendships are tested, relationships change, and maybe with luck the boys might actually make it out of high school in one piece.
    But then again, maybe not.
    Because lets face it, the boys of South Park are all a bit broken.

    The universe really hates Stan Marsh. First, it puts him through crazy situation after crazy situation as a child, nearly killing him a few dozen times. Then, it moves on and completely forgets about him for years. Until finally, only a few months before he's going to graduate and leave South Park for good, it ties him to his best friend. His best friend who, for some reason unknown to Stan, is determined to run away.
