Summary
It should be raining. Izuku thought, watching quietly as his mother, his only family, was laid to rest. Today is the day the sky should be crying, crying all the tears that have dried up in his eyes. Its almost a miracle that he isn’t crying, but his face remains dry. His whole body feels dry, like a piece of seaweed stuck to the side of a pier. Dried up from the burning sun, ready to flake away into nothing at the slightest touch.
Thankfully there is no one to give him that touch, to give him the hug he so badly needs. The funeral is one put on by the government, a paltry thing that involved only the priest, social worker, and Izuku himself. None of his mothers friends are there, none of her coworkers. Midoriya Inko does not get burried surrounded by loved ones, no. The only difference between her burial and her death is that her son is there this time. No matter how much Izuku had begged, cried, pleaded with the social worker he had not been allowed to see her in the hospital. They had told him she was too damaged, that there was nothing he could do to help.
They didn’t know how wrong they were.

Ideas for quirks I think would be super fun to write Izuku having. I have no plan on using them in a story rn, gunna stay focused on the one i'm already working on, but I might get back to them eventually. If you want to use them for your fic go ahead! just let me know, or like say you were inspired by me or something. I wanna see peoples Izu's.

It wasn't that Grillby didn't appreciate having a soul mark. Not everyone got one after all. The very first words your soulmate would say to you, tattooed somewhere on your body. They appeared when your soulmate was born. The older of the pair would have to wait for their partner to be born before they got it, but the younger had it from birth. Some people, both monster and human alike, didn't have soul marks. Their destined mate had either passed away before they were born or, in the most saddening cases, died before the couple got to meet. In very rare cases marks changed, but that was only in extreme circumstances.

3 years ago some type of 'barrier' had been broken, and monsters of all shapes and sizes poured out from underneath Mount Ebbot. Humans, being the terrible creatures that you knew they were, had wasted no time in capturing and enslaving the new people. Compliance collars, horrid mixtures of technology and human magic, were put on the monsters, cutting off their magic and forcing them to obey their 'masters' orders. They were then promptly sold off, becoming pets or slaves to anyone who had the money and inclination. That included you now, apparently.
Tagging and stuff is hard on mobile. Just an idea I've had in my head for a bit, decided to write it out.
I'm pretty bad at keeping my enthusiasm to write without comments, so write me something back!

You've lived a fairly decent, though hard earned, and calm adult life. Maybe your boss was a bit of a snob, maybe you were bored, and maybe you had a bit of a haunting past, buthe life goes on per usual.
Then a walk in the park changes everything, and probably for the better.

Falling down the hole wasn't the worst thing that had ever happened to you, in fact quite the opposite. There were reasons you had to go back to the top. Nothing would stop you from getting back to him. Along the way you make some great friends, over come some issues of your past, and have a great time.
It's not all fun and happiness though. An unknown force is after your body, planning death and destruction for all you know in the Underground, including you. It's going to take all your strength, and the help of your friends, to get everyone a happy ending.

There are many different gangs to worry about, all with their own agendas, and the skelebros have gotten themselves into something even more sinister than the run of the mill gang stuff. It's going to take both of them, and maybe some unlikely friends, to figure things out and keep themselves safe.

Dr. W.D. Gaster is one of the smartest monsters to live, and when all of monster kind is sentenced to existence underground for the rest of eternity, he is given the daunting task of making things brighter, literally, for his kind. How he, a young theoretical scientist, can be expected to do so much is beyond him, but he's determined to not let down his King and kind.
When heading home from a long days work Gaster happens upon something that will change his life, hopefully for the better, and maybe even be the help he needs.
