“You really shouldn't have mixed drugs and sake together… Can you sit up for me?”
“No, leave me to fucking die. Wanted you to find my body. Cry over it. I don't care anymore.”
Oh, this again. Yuji thinks snidely. Sukuna’s attempts always go like this. He had been wondering if this was just Sukuna’s normal reckless passive suicidality or a ploy to get back at Yuji for their argument.
For even making an attempt to change Sukuna by loving and living with him. Accepting him no matter how he destroys Yuji’s garden.
Yuji shows Sukuna how alike they really are.

Letting the same warmth wash over him again, Yuuji took three large steps back and commanded him with a single word, “Crawl.”

They’d refer to Sukuna as worthless and dangerous, unstable and a blot on the once-clean reputation of the clan. A waste of talent—a waste of the Shrine. Unworthy of being an Itadori. Unworthy of being alive. He was a curse. A calamity. One that needed to be put down.
For the longest time, Yuuji didn’t believe any of that.
It was hard to believe such dramatic stories when all the other kids in the clan were easily frightened by old legends and cursed spirits. That stuff never scared Yuuji.
