Summary
Nearly two years after the fateful knighting ceremony that overturned the realm entirely, ex-knight Ballister Boldheart’s luck seems to finally be improving. His relationship with Ambrosius is stronger than ever, both the wall and the Institute have been torn down, and Nimona has miraculously returned from the dead. Blood loss always makes for a horrid mix of pain and delirium, and with a wound this large it’s a miracle Ballister hasn’t fallen over dead yet. Though an early grave is looking pretty comfortable, especially when compared to the cruel visions that haunt his fevered escape from the Glorodome.
