Summary
Ted would be the first one to admit that he didn't know a darned thing about football when he arrived at Richmond. So no, he was not at all prepared for the awful, horrifying truth he discovered: that football clubs were allowed to keep some of their players as indentured servants -- slaves, to be more accurate. He wasn't prepared to take on a tradition that allowed for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, all in the name of winning football matches.
As for Colin and Jamie, who were both sold as indentured servants when they were kids and have barely survived since then, they long ago learned not to trust anyone but each other. Especially not with an owner like Rupert Mannion, who's been happily abusing his authority over them for years. They know better than to believe anyone will help them.
Luckily, Ted believes enough for all of them. But he's got his work cut out for him, because a system that will accept human trafficking in exchange for football excellence is not one that will change easily...

Summary
Reginald Hargreeves never truly saw the appeal in most of humanity's norms. In breeding, in children, in morality, in torturing oneself by refusing their ingrained desires. Not when there would be no consequences for his behaviour.
And luckily, he had the opportunity to run with the type of crowd who agreed with him.
(I am so terrible at summaries omg, I promise there is an actual thought-out story here)
Anyways, please read warnings before proceeding.Bookmarked by Lizzie_ive

Summary
Peter's about to have this paperwork off his desk, he’s about to have this fraudster taken care of…at least for the next five years or so.
Or, that’s what he thinks until he walks out of blistering cold—too damn cold for it to only be November—into the polished glass and marble of City National, flashes a badge, meets the manager, heads back to the security room, and sees that the security guard is holding the arm of a kid.

Summary
If you had told Hermès a week ago he would be the the emperor's second son personal slave, he would—despite his usual calm and reserved demeanor—have laughed so hard in your face he might have died.
Die he almost did. That is when he, in utter desperation, ran away from his then master, only to be saved by the most unexpected person.
