Summary
The thought of having a kid has been consuming Neil's mind for the last 4 months since Andrew brought up the possibility of them fostering or adopting. Neil wasn't against it - after some years of dealing with the other foxes’ children. He has gone a long way to accept he wasn't harmful to children just by existing, he could love them and be a good figure, but what about his own? It was different, having to be there 24/7 parenting through tantrums, crying, and issues, without the option to just yell at their mothers or fathers to hurry and get their kids.
The struggles, successes, and real-life experiences of Andrew and Neil fostering! It's a long way road with lots of ups and downs but the doubts and fears all fade away once you see that you would do anything and everything for that kid.
Be aware of sensitive topics brought up in the original books, some more angst involving past trauma and a sick child.

Summary

Summary
Human AU where Lilith is Lucifer’s biological sister and she dies at a young age. Lucifer’s parents choose to become foster parents to try and cope with the loss of lilith, and each foster kid he meets Lucifer ends up becoming life long friends with.
These foster kids are his brothers, starting with Mammon, then Levi, then Asmo, then the Twins, but when he’s done high school and looking forward to college, he finds out that they’re planning to keep one of the foster kids: Satan.
Lucifer moves out, angry at them for trying to replace his sister, but quickly returns to the scene when his little brothers tell him that Satan is being abused by Lucifer’s parents. Now, without risking getting Satan moved to a random placement, Lucifer’s goal is to make it through the first two years of his degree until he can buy a place where he can house all of his brothers. With the help of his five little brothers from different mothers and a best friend roommate Diavolo, Lucifer just wants Satan to be safe and find his place in their family.
