"Closing the journal with a huff, Nate stood from his desk and left his office. He needed some water and an aspirin, maybe even a nap.
His heat could be any day now, but he was suspecting that his preheat was starting-and fast-if the slight itch under his skin was to be taken seriously. His heats were never regular to begin with, and sometimes his body liked to do a little trolling by having him go through preheat symptoms and not going into heat, or just saying 'fuck it' and throwing him into full blown heat without warning."
Nate just wanted to live normally. As normally as one could after thinking your boss died in a fire and then said boss swore to kill you after calling you from prison. Everything is fine (spoiler: it's really not).
At least he has friends and a brother to help him out best they can, right?

Summary
She had never smiled, never hugged him or called him hers or her son until that day, when she smiled wide and her eyes lit up bright. Warm, instead of cold as ice--part of the element she was born to.
She only called him 'Child' and 'Boy' until that day, and he never understood why until he was much older. Never quite understood why she yelled at him half the time or struck him.
"You are my son, instead of his." She had said, her eyes seeming to become much brighter in that instance, a flash of teeth to her smile.
He didn't quite understand her meaning then either, until much later in life.

In the depths of hell, there's a separate plane-a pocket dimension-where the Angel of Death sits like a skeletal angel with blackened wings on a throne of bone and thorns. They command those that help them reap the souls of the dead, Reapers of flesh and bone that have still hearts and no soul. Reapers bleed, and they die and they come in many shapes and sizes.
Angel of Death, or just simply Death, has seen many colors go with red in their long time on the job. Ranging from soft colors, to harsh colors.
One color Death hasn't seen until recently, is silver. It is the color of a newly turned Reapers' hair and it oddly goes with his newly turned red eyes. What was his name again?

Summary
Too busy being Mechaman to ever be Robert, the omega. On the strongest suppressants his dwindling inheritance can buy, and then none when that eventually runs out too. Robert struggles to navigate life through the lens of a "normie". Someone who can't fall back on being a superhero in order to avoid his biology. He never expected to live this long to suffer the consequences of the abuse he put his body through constantly. Now, he's dealing with ex-super villains and trying to help them in their rehabilitation while suffering through a hormonal hurricane.
Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you view it, his team is comprised of mostly single alphas who are all too happy to ogle their new dispatcher, who screams emotional baggage. Now just to see who can crack the sarcastic ass dispatcher first, and maybe do their jobs along the way.

Summary
Waking up alone, hurt, in the dark... It's not fun. And Robert should know. It's happened before, and it's happening now, and if there's a merciful God out there, he might live long enough for it to happen again. But he's never been too religious, and it's not like a guardian angel has been assigned to him either... Just a bunch of fuck-ups that will do anything to get the glue that holds them together back.
