or: Severus is done with wizards for good. Following the death of his father shortly after his graduation, he packs his bags and sets off for London, striving to become something his father (along with every wizard from his past) would have hated. Through a series of rather unexpected events (a few chance encounters and several regrettable fashion choices), he becomes a muggle rockstar. He is the Punk Prince, lead of a rising post-punk rock band riding the new wave of the 80s. The band explodes into the British music scene, attracting fans, friends, and enemies- including those from his past.
After a Death Eater attack at one of his performances, Severus is dragged back into the world he tried so hard to leave behind. Soon Severus is caught between a prophecy, the world he's come to love, and one that refuses to forget him. He must make a choice: muggle or wizard, coward or hero, prince or master. -

“My claim to Camelot’s throne,” Uther threw back, face growing more red as Arthur looked between his parents in utter bewilderment. Merlin didn’t blame him. He had envisioned Uther and Ygraine’s love story to be more… well, less based in war and battles.
Ygraine’s eyes narrowed as she grabbed a goblet of wine and threw it in Uther’s face. A few of the guards shifted, but Uther only raised a hand to pause them, spitting out the wine with furious eyes.
“You,” Ygraine said coldly. “Are unworthy to sit upon a stool, let alone a throne.”
From a few feet away, Balinor scoffed as he sipped from his own goblet. “I kind of like having her as a hostage, Uther. She livens up the place.”

After all, it had just been said that he would protect Arthur with his magic and allow him to fulfill his destiny, right? Zuko beheld an enormous stone door, carved with a symbol that resembled a tree, or perhaps a crown. It was weathered with age, and near the bottom of the door, there was great rent in the stone, creating a hole just big enough for someone of his size to squeeze through. It was odd though, that the hole looked like it was made by someone smashing the stone in from the other side…almost like something broke through from the other side and escaped.
