Sherlock barks out a short, jubilant laugh, sliding his hand into his jacket pocket to retrieve one of his cigarettes, placing it between his lips before returning for his matches next. “Liam,” matches located, Sherlock lights up his cigarette and takes a long drag, exhaling the smoke unhurriedly towards the window next to him, “It is a true pleasure to have ya aboard.”
~After the events of Vermissa, William is ready to begin his new mission under Pinkerton Detective Agency. Side-by-side with Sherlock and Billy, they agree to investigate a series of seemingly random attacks on a garment factory in the warehouse district that have recently escalated. “That's right,” he said, the toothpick in his mouth bobbing with the words. “And you're Mr. Moriarty.”
“Just William is fine. Mr. Moriarty is what the kids call me,” William said, nodding toward the classroom, children playing with toys or coloring on paper inside. “Your daughter is quite bright. Very self-sufficient.”
