"Y-You need calming?" Waterboy asks, confused, his brows knitting together slightly.
Prism flinches internally, realizing she opened herself up to that question. She tosses it around in her brain, trying to determine each outcome. She could not tell Waterboy, tell him to shut the hell up and walk back inside- though that was cruel, even for her. Or, she could tell him, and be strangely emotionally vulnerable. That icks her out, but there is something about Waterboy that disarmed her an alarming amount. An embarrassing amount. It’s annoying that she even feels compelled to tell him, but that's just how he made people feel. How he makes her feel. Safe- emotionally, at least. She didn’t understand why.

Summary
Sans has finally managed to fix the reset issue. It only required the deletion of a vital character. The barrier is broken, and time finally begins to move again. Recovery is slow, but Sans finds solace in his dreams. By the time he realizes his dreams of other universes are real, he has already grown attached to their residents. And then he's attacked at home and is thrust into the multiverse proper. He finds things very different from how he expected. His old friends don't recognize him, and some of them appear suspiciously older.
It doesn't take long before Sans starts to suspect that he may have a larger role in the multiverse than he predicted.
I wanted more Classic adventures through the multiverse, so here's my contribution. And cause I'm me, I can't help but try to make a saga out of it.

Neji distinctly remembered dying.
He remembered the decision that wasn't a decision at all, he remembered his body moving and remembered the way his blood was everywhere. He remembered the horrified faces and the chaos of battle falling away.
He did not remember the feeling of pain, only the fact of it.
He remembered closing his eyes with a content smile. He fulfilled his duty; he had no regrets as darkness and light closed in and he slipped away into the beyond.
So then, when the next thing he knew was a dark room and the sound of cicadas he felt justified in the yelp he let out, tumbling from the bed onto familiar-yet-unfamiliar tatami mats.Or: Neji dies in canon, but what if his journey is just beginning in another world?
(or or: Hyūga Neji gets reincarnated into the world of jjk with his memories as Neji in-tact and this might disrupt certain plans, set in motion long ago, by a certain parasite.)
