Summary
When Harry Potter found out he was a wizard, he was mostly nervous. Especially when he was sorted into Slytherin House, the same House that the man who killed his parents was in. But then he meets Draco Malfoy, who agrees to teach him about wizarding culture, and suddenly Harry is feeling at home in the dark dungeons of Hogwarts castle. He makes friends in Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff and even uncovers an insidious plot by one of the teaching staff.

Summary
Ben Tennyson's life was destroyed when his friends and family on Earth were killed. He has since been living with his girlfriend Charmcaster. But when his enemies perform a ritual to get rid of him, he gets sent to the Netherworld where he now has to find a way forward. He makes a new family, new friends, and new enemies. He learns more about his powers, both from the watch and in his blood.
Surely it can't be that hard...wait...what do you mean he has to go back to school?!

Summary
A while back, I started re-reading the Percy Jackson series with a new pair of eyes now that I'm older. And I started noticing certain actions and lines of dialogue that just didn't seem right. The way Percy downplays his accomplishments and is an unreliable narrator really shines through and I'm being more critical of other characters like Grover, Chiron, and Annabeth.
Then I had the idea to do the same with Harry Potter. The abuse he suffers from the Dursleys becomes really apparent and the way the audience is primed to already hate Slytherins before Harry even gets to Hogwarts was right in my face when it wasn't the first time. This is my attempt at rewriting Harry's adventures and adding my own twists, ideas, and headcanons. I have no idea if they're even good ideas but I want to see how it plays out.
