    There was Tim. Unmistakably Tim. Grinning at the camera with that rare, full smile that he almost never let himself have in photographs.

    And standing on the other side of the girl in the middle, was a boy with Tim's face.

    The same exact face, down to the precise geometry of the jaw and the specific way the corners of his eyes crinkled when he smiled. The only visible difference between them was that his hair was shorter.

    Even more alarmingly, the girl that stood between them also had the same face. The angles were a little rounder, the eyes a fraction wider, giving her away as distinctly female while still being unmistakably a part of whatever this was.

    (Or! Finally wrote the Twins Tim and Danny story I've always wanted to write.)

    "Wait!" Brucie beamed impossibly wider. He grabbed Danny by the shoulders. "A job! Perfect! I need a new intern you see. The last one just quit. Yes. Yes, you're hired. Congratulations!"

    "What?" Danny choked in astonishment.

    "You'll start immediately! Come back to Wayne Enterprises with me! I'll show you all around the R&D division!"

    At this point, Danny was 98% sure he was having an elaborate hallucination. So he decided to just go with it. "A job doing what exactly?"

    Brucie leaned in. He lowered his voice to a conspiratorial whisper.

    "Just between you and me… I need someone to keep an eye on my son Timmy."

    "...Timmy?" Danny was honestly a bit afraid to ask. Nothing that came out of this man’s mouth made any sense.
