But Zoro isn’t convinced that he’s the only cure to the cook’s predicament, especially under the weight of their new forced proximity, the growing trust and attraction between them, and the crew’s constant teasing.

Zoro opened a slit of his eye to look up at Sanji. He towered over him in the moonlight, wearing the usual white shirt and black pants.

They only meet in the quiet hours of the night. Sanji pretends it means nothing. Zoro wishes it meant everything.

Summary
Silverscars (Adar/Celebrimbor) canon divergence AU, political marriage AU. In which Celebrimbor notices that something is 'off' about Annatar and figures out his secret far earlier than Sauron expected him to. He subsequently makes the difficult decision to flee Eregion in a bid to escape and maybe, hopefully, reach and alert Lindon and Gil-Galad.
Instead, he is discovered by the 'orcs' who have gathered in the forest across the Glanduin in order to prepare for the siege, and lands himself in Adar's camp. In their attempts to negotiate a peace as well as finding a means to oppose their shared enemy in Ost-In-Edhil, the two enter a political marriage that changes the course of Arda's history - and both their lives. Suffice to say, the marriage does not stay political. And does indeed lead to the uruk and the elves to try and build an alliance against Sauron.
Follow Adar and Celebrimbor as they get to know one another better and develop unexpected feelings - and the joyous time after, which includes the planning of a belated celebration of their wedding, as well as the two of them navigating the ups and downs of married life as leaders of their people and in the aftermath of Sauron's failed ploy.

Summary
Adar has declared himself King of Mordor. And a King is always in need of a herald. Unfortunately, he has his eyes set on one herald in particular. There is nothing that would make Gil-Galad part with his herald, except that Adar has promised to recall his children to Mordor and trouble the peoples of Middle-Earth no longer. He will also lend his army in the fight against Sauron.
And though Elrond feels that he would sooner die, it is painfully clear what the lesser of the two evils are, and the whole of Middle-Earth is at stake. Besides, they only need a few months in order to defeat Sauron, once they have done that then he will be able to return to Lindon for good. This is just a temporary sacrifice. And his dear friend and brother Prince Durin will not be far away.
AU that takes place just after Season 2 Episode 1, when Elrond is working at the boathouse, but just before Galadriel goes to talk to him about joining the mission to Eregion.

Summary
After Sauron's defeat at the hands of the elves and Adar, a new kind of normalcy begins in Eregion. Adar and Celebrimbor have admitted their love for one another and turned their previously political marriage into one of love and affection instead. The elves and the uruk are working on a peace treaty, and there is even talk about a celebration to commemorate both the historic victory of the new alliance - and the marriage between the Lord of Eregion and the Lord Father of the uruk.
Not everything is rainbows and sunshine at all times, but things are looking up. Follow Adar and Celebrimbor's journey after "Of Convenience" as they settle into their wedded life and face the struggles of overcoming the remnants of Sauron's terror, learning more about each other, and trying not to lose their minds in the face of the giant festivities that are being planned for them. While also enjoying some soft everyday moments.
