Summary
It was a joke, no-one would think otherwise. Except Kindaichi, who, not for lack of resisting, is on the verge of tearing everyone's throats out - quite literally. Whether he does or doesn't, if he spent a moment longer with them, they would never see him the same again.
It's a full moon - and his birthday come midnight. Kunimi is the only one who can keep him sane.

Summary
The clear evening sky looked down on no others but Yuutarou and his unlikely lover on the rocky shore, like every evening before it.
As usual, Yuutarou lay in Akira’s comfortable lap, close and intimate, where a warm hand ran over Yuutarou's scales. He let out a chirp of encouragement as the human's curious fingertips oh so softer than a mermaid's caught on the edge of scales, causing Yuutarou to shudder. With their arms woven around the human's neck, Yuutarou shifted in his lap.
Yuutarou had never let anyone touch them there before. He hadn't ever done it himself, either. Too busy, too closely watched. With Akira, they were ready.

Summary
There are still moving boxes spread throughout the living room, Satori can’t tell which are for ceramic and utensils and which have all the dusty tinsel…
It has been a tradition for Satori for years setting up the Christmas decorations around his room, creating a multi-coloured haven for himself. It’s well-known that Satori treats Christmas as not only a time for giving and receiving gifts - although that’s of course the most enjoyable part - but for letting go and being free.

Summary
"F… For me?" Yuutarou asks, hands clutching in front of him. An adorable shade of red coats his cheeks that Kenjirou had expected. The colour suits him.
As does the pink of the fluffy ears and tail butt plug that sit beside him on the bed.

Summary
The first time he acknowledged him had been unfortunate. While sipping on his coffee, Kenjirou had unexpectedly met his gaze, giving him no choice but to see his warm smile and the bright spark in his eyes, greeting him as always.
That day, Kenjirou found no way to avoid responding, dipping his head briefly in greeting before looking straight back down at his phone. But suddenly the news wasn’t so important. More concerning was the fact that now Kenjirou had acknowledged his existence, he’d never be able to ignore him again.
