    The vast majority knew that the Lynx-Spider (for the most part) was harmless.

    Most knew that whatever happened in the Spider’s past had left a bitter taste on her tongue and rage burning in her stomach.

    Most didn’t know Mirabel, and Mirabel would rather keep it that way.

    Summary

    Mirabel runs away from home after seeing her entire family take a photo without her. In the jungle, while trying to leave the Encanto, she is attacked by a were-jaguar. In a desperate attempt to save her, the Miracle teleports her to Monster High.
    Mirabel finds herself in front of the school, where Headmistress Bloodgood welcomes her into her home and tells her about the time when Bruno was a student at Monster High.
    Meanwhile, the family begins to fall apart without Mirabel: many feel guilty, others blame one another, while Alma just wants everyone to forget Mirabel ever existed.

    Mirabel’s adventures at Monster High are just beginning—and so are the trials of the family and community who once treated her so badly.
