Summary
Life is not going as planned for Marinette Dupain-Chang. When she was 14, she'd honestly thought that by now she'd be a famous fashion designer and she'd be living out the rest of her life with Adrien in all her hamster-loving glory. At 25, all she wants to do is get her MBA and launch MDC to new heights. No romance, unnecessary rivals, or convoluted plans. When life just seems to get in the way, she isn't sure what to do.
Or, where Marinette fake-dates Damian, someone she cannot stand for the life of her, until it doesn't feel like fake-dating anymore.
This is my take on a character study. I just want to warn people that Marinette isn't a good person, far from it. She is flawed, she does a lot of shitty things, but there are consequences. Overall, this fic focuses on her personality traits and exaggerates them slightly to show really how they impact her life. I want to apologise for any butchering of the characters I may do (It's not an excuse), but I do have reasons for doing so.Updates on the first of every month (for now, update rate may increase as time goes on.)

Summary
Damian Wayne doesn’t always get to do what he wants. Sometimes he simply has to smile through the unpleasant things, and sometimes the things that start out unpleasant turn out to be the best things in the end. Meeting Marinette occurred during one of those unpleasant things, and he thinks that if he can convince her to stay by his side that all the other unpleasant things he has to do would be much better, and he wouldn’t have to work quite so hard to smile through.
