Summary
Crack!fic - Frank wakes up de-aged to how he looked almost ten years ago.
It’s as if someone has reached deep into the recesses of Gerard’s mind and extracted a living, breathing photograph directly from his memory. Frank still looks like himself but warped by some kind of time machine, aged backwards by nearly a decade overnight. Gerard remembers the uneven blonde and black mohawk from Chem’s early days, and a little more shockingly, he remembers when Frank’s skin looked this empty. So many of Frank’s favorite tattoos (as well as a good chunk of Gerard’s) are no longer there, and it’s so fucking eerie seeing Frank like this almost ten years after the fact, especially when just yesterday he looked like a fully grown adult and not like he should be stress-eating cereal in a dorm room.

For a thick moment, there is only the sound of the rain and the thunder so distant that Leon isn't sure he's imagining it, the swirly music and both your stunted breathing— even then, he's so focused on you it's hard to notice anything else but you. Your face is a blank slate of surprise, but Leon takes the silence as rejection, and steps backwards like a wounded dog.
(Leon, at the expense of being infected, realizes he may be running out of time to be with you, and confesses his feelings.)
