He feels content here, on the edge of a rooftop in the darkest part of Gotham, with his brothers' bickering voices around him. Damian is sixteen, nearly seventeen, and he thinks he has his whole life ahead of him.

Damian was an al Ghul, more than that he was the Heir to the Demon’s Head, to The Bat, to a glorious purpose that this Shadow of a boy could never understand and yet he now thought that he was allowed to touch Damian not in the heat of battle, but in the lull of it?
