Kole leaned against the corner of the bar, nursing a beer and asking herself for the umpteenth time why she kept coming back to the Hard Deck. She adored Penny and was still thankful for the way the woman had welcomed her with open arms when she moved back to San Diego. But the never-ending carousel of TOPGUN trainees - complete with egos that could only exist when someone is told they are the best of the best - was something she could do without.
Rooster scanned the crowd while he waited for Penny to make her way around the bar to him. The usual mix of locals and Navy personnel was a welcome familiarity. As much as the rest of the world seemed to change, somehow the Hard Deck never did. Unless you count the redhead at the other end of the bar.
Hangman would never understand how a guy who moved as slow as Rooster did in the air never hesitated to take his shot on the ground. And when the pretty redhead shoots him down? Challenge accepted.

Summary
Choi San had never particularly been the jealous type.
He was competitive, sure- But never jealous.
He’d never felt heated when a girlfriend of his had sat on someone else's lap, talked to some other guy, touched someone's arm in a friendly way. He never cared when his friends did something fun without him, or got some cool new game system he’d been wanting. San had never found himself in that fever-like, aggravated emotion that was ‘jealousy’.
So he really didn’t understand why watching his best friend cuddle with any of his other best friends made his stomach churn and his irritation spike. He hated the red hot feeling that bubbled up in his chest and made his palms sweat. He felt pure acidic rage whenever someone else touched him, smiled at him, kissed him, as a joke.

San flushes pink and whimpers as Mingi gently tugs at his rim with his fingertips.
It’s very possible that he’s just reacting to Mingi touching him or to the feeling of how wet he is between his legs. However, the thought in the back of Mingi’s mind, slowly becoming clearer now that he’s a little less fuck-drunk, is that there’s another reason for San’s flush, a reason tied to the fact that he came almost immediately after Mingi brought up the possibility of being caught by Wooyoung.
Interesting.
(or, Mingi has a revelation, Wooyoung comes along for the ride, and San gets absolutely wrecked.)

Summary
Chan assures him it will be a cakewalk, easy money. The client is a bit of a shithead, but he's nothing Changbin hasn’t handled before, his friend tells him over the phone while Changbin is making himself a cup of instant coffee. He hums like he’s listening, stirring the sour brew in his mug before he adds milk, but it doesn’t matter to him either way. Money is money, a job is a job, and an easy one is all the more inviting.
Kim Seungmin is a solo musician, recently out of the closet and wrapped in scandal already. Seo Changbin is hired as his bodyguard.
