Later that same day, Monsters return to the surface after being trapped in the underground for thousands of years. These two events have to be related, right?

Summary
You're an alien who's been stuck on earth for several years now. You're not sure if anyone's looking for you or not considering the nature of your job, but you can't really bring yourself to care too much. Not when earth is so much more colorful and fun than anything you've known before, and especially not since monsters made a reappearance a few years back.
It seems like things are going to get very, very interesting... How exciting! :D---
