Just something that came to me after chapter 32. I was re-watching the anime and at that moment when Jin deflates after lying in bed I thought: 'Damn, that's some pressure Jin's got on his shoulders'. I guess I just wanted the scene to make some introspection in his character; which it clearly didn't :/

“The deal is to keep me safe. That’s our contract. As soon as you’re fulfilling your part of it, we’re fine, hm?” Ajax points out, tilting his head to the side. His eyebrows quirk—it’s when Zhongli realises it’s a sudden whim, a random idea to prove his point and drown into semantics.
Zhongli sighs.
Ajax grins. Cheeky, carefree, invincible.
It's the weather. Ajax’s skin glistens in the warm lights, his tilted head casts shadows on his shoulder, bringing Zhongli's gaze to his collar. A black necklace of good quality leather, everyone should think. The knowledge that Zhongli’s leash could easily slip through the collar’s hidden buckle, means world to Ajax.
Or: Childe sinks into the subspace in public and Zhongli rewards him.

Percy took in a great shuddering breath as realisation struck him. Tears filled his eyes and he stared at Chiron, “what did I just do?” He whispered.
Percy’s eyes rolled back in his head and he collapsed into the centaur’s arms.
