Summary
What is freedom to you?
After wandering through the landscapes they once dreamed of as children, Eren and Armin spend their final moments together in each other’s arms, their knees sinking in the barren sands left by the rumbling’s devastation. Refusing to accept his best friend’s inevitable fate, Armin desperately pleads to the universe for more time. However, this fervent wish unexpectedly transports them to a completely different world, one that neither of them could’ve imagined or prepared for.
An ordinary world.
In this world, their lost years of youth are lived out by high school versions of themselves, their friends, and other familiar faces. As they witness and unravel unlikely pairs, adventures, and coming-of-age turmoil, Eren grapples with the world’s blood on his hands while Armin faces his deepest fear: losing the person he loves the most.
But the town is not as it seems. When the tectonic plates of politics shift and shake the foundation that builds the town of Paradis and its inhabitants, Eren and Armin learn that this world mirrors their own more than they thought.
In the quest to find Eren’s freedom, they discover that they are fighting for everyone’s freedom too.

Levi. Spends most of his nights playing the bad boy at the bar and his days exhausted by the Omega/Alpha bullshit. Often found with a cup of bitter tea and a word of advice.
Eren. Has held the best friend card since they were kids, but is really looking for an upgrade. Freaks out when faced with adult decisions but constantly feels like he could be doing way better. Serial job quitter.
Jean. First love gone wrong. Moved on with his life but didn’t really move on with his feelings. Could really use a reality check and a hug.

Erwin Smith is nearing thirty and has yet to settle down with anyone. The only person he's ever fallen in love with is getting married in the spring, and Erwin will be the best man instead of the groom. Instead of the nice house in the suburbs he's always wanted he lives in an apartment on a congested street. He spends his days the same way every week, every month, every year.
Things start to change when he's put in charge of a new intern at work though. They start to change rapidly and out of his control. The mundane routine fraying around him, his mind suddenly filled with thoughts he's ashamed of. Thoughts he'd be terrified to admit to anyone. Lately all he can think about is how badly he wants to take the young college intern home and steal away the last of the boy's innocence.

Reiner could get any guy or girl he wanted: He was strong, athletic, tall, on the football team and was just so much cooler than all his other classmates! Everyone knew it, maybe apart from the one person he wanted to know he was cool. Armin Arlert was gorgeous, but his head was too far in his books and his best friends were very protective.
