    He may be ten now, but he was seventeen once, and he remembers the way she cackled like she was possessed by a Poe when he stammered out an apology for always visiting her sick with fever, since his face always flushed with heat when she smiled at him. And, sure, there were differences. Cremia’s hair was shorter and darker than hers had been, and, whereas Cremia and Romani raised cows, she had raised horses. Most notable, of course, was in their singing. She always sounded like the chiming of bells or tinkling fairy wings, while Cremia and Romani – on the few occasions he had heard them – sounded more like a dying Deku Baba than anything.

    The events in Termina were always the same and always predictable down to the very second. That is, of course, until they were not.

    Zelda frowned. Remember… what? “Um, I don’t know what you mean, I just… recognize you from my dream last night. I, uh! I have prophetic dreams, you see.”

    Zelda's dreams have began to be of days that don't happen after she meets Link. He still becomes her friend, but the more she remembers the sadder that look in his eye becomes.
