Years after Harry Potter disappeared and Voldemort won the war, minister and spy Severus Snape secretly rescues the starving and deeply injured hero, hoping to heal him despite the threat of being discovered, Harry's own violent hostility, and the strange magic Harry uses that makes everyone forget him.
Rebel leader Hermione Granger extorts prisoner Draco Malfoy's wealth for the failing resistance, but her side's ever-increasing losses may mean that any help will come too late. Her only way to rescue her friends might be to betray the spy who helped her throughout the war.
Resistance fighter Ron Weasley tries his best to be a hero in Harry's place, but after the end of his relationship with Hermione, the loss of so many people he loved, and his own failures, he begins to close off his heart and seek extreme ways to fix the wrongs in this terrible world.

Harry finds himself conversing with the Half Blood Prince, who he eventually finds out is the teenage Snape. The news is startling, but not as startling as the feelings Harry has started to have towards his new friend.
This story was inspired by "Between the Lines" by Dementor Delta. I liked the idea that the Half Blood Prince's book can be used much like Tom Riddle's diary (but not) and wanted to put my own spin on the concept (don't worry: Dementor Delta is cool with this) I know it resembles Dementor Delta's story a lot at the beginning, but in later chapters it's different!
Changed the title! Like it a whole lot better now.
