Eddie simply could not understand how Steve does not find himself beautiful. Everybody knew that Steve Harrington was basically a walking god. A walking god who somehow just didn’t believe he was beautiful.
Now, Eddie had a plan that he hoped would finally convince Steve to see himself like Eddie does. A plan that included Steve pretty literally seeing himself like Eddie does.

Steve registers it somewhat; giggles and flying popcorn and bickering over the last soda, but it all feels distant--far away. At some point Eddies hand slides down from his hair and over his waist; slips under his shirt to trace shapes on the soft skin of Steves back. Its good. Here, in their little bubble, everything is warm and soft, and what was the beginning of a migraine has dissolved into nothing but a blissful calm.
