Summary
This is a collection of pre-2014 'fics from multiple fandoms that have been re-written and edited in an attempt to breathe new life into them. Anything found here was originally posted to Fanfiction.net and was deleted when I purged all my pre-2014 fics back in 2016.
Some 'fics here may be related via a common theme (e.g., holiday 'fic requests, meme/prompt fills, challenges like the FE100, et cetera), but they are all separate stories that can be read in any order. You will find original dates in the author notes of each individual story.

Summary
A collection of stories set in the same “headcanon” continuum for FFIX, primarily featuring Adelbert Steiner and/or Beatrix. While my intention is to write each story in this series to stand more or less on its own, information from earlier pieces will inform those down the road, so I would recommend reading them in order for the best experience.
I have 34 stories planned for this series as of 10/7/24. Most will be one-shots, but a few will be multi-parters.

On Christmas Eve—which coincides with Oscar’s thirty-fourth birthday—memories of the past intertwine with the small victories of the present: the first client who trusted them, the first time they did not fear hunger, and the first night they could love each other without asking history for permission.
