“I would say that I’m fucking him.” Eobard said the expletive with great relish, letting the vowels and consonants slowly roll off his tongue. He thought of pushing inside Barry, skin on sweat-slicked skin. The way Barry’s face contorted as if in anguish, eyes squeezed shut and mouth parted wide. The glimmer of green beneath his eyelashes, his head thrown back with the long line of his neck on offer when he came. “He really is fantastic. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.”
“That’s disgusting.”
Eobard smiled at her; he had missed this. “He would say the same. Concerning the nature of our relationship, I mean.”

To entertain themselves at a gala, the Batkids play bingo and a drinking game out of microaggressions. One sip for a basic, ignorant comment. Two sips for an underhanded insult. Three sips for multiple isms, and chug the glass if someone starts a fight.
As the only one legally old enough to drink, Dick is gonna end up wasted by the end of the night. Barbara is gleefully keeping track of their bingo sheets from afar. Bruce did not sign up for this.

Dick straightens, then, and something terrifying unfurls in the depths of his eyes, like the sails of a ship billowing wild and uncontrolled. "Now, what I'm inclined to do-"
"Dick," Bruce says, and Dick's shoulders slowly lower and roll back. He steps back, tilting his head away from Tim, and Tim glances down to be greeted by gooseflesh prickling over his arms.
Jason grumbles something derogatory. He's summarily ignored.

Jason short-circuits for a beat, and then runs the words back. “What?”
Tim takes a deep breath, and it’s steady. “I’m going to die,” he repeats, “and I don’t want to be alone, so please stay on the line.”
