Plenty of demons are not very creative. This is true. Crowley has always said that creativity is one of those things on which humans have both heaven and hell absolutely beat. You only have to look at what they’ve done with ways to kill each other.
“And sushi,” sighs a voice in the back of his skull. He hisses at it.
The fact remains, however, that Crowley does know how to make and create, he knows how to take what is neither sea nor shore nor air nor fire, but all these in their pregnant causes mixed confusedly and to make of it the dark material that becomes matter. He doesn’t think about it too hard, but he draws the bones of the house from within himself, surely as he scattered stars within the firmament and saw them shine back at him with the same curiosity as lay in his own soul. By the time the Bentley comes to a stop, somewhere between Bignor Roman Villa and the Weald and Downland Living Museum, there is a driveway to stop in.

Mere minutes until sunrise. Damian climbed the spires of his father’s tallest building and perched there like a nesting bird. The orange-purple sunrise was spreading lazily across the sky. But he knew it was the end. The world was falling to pieces.
Gotham was coming undone before his very eyes.
The scene flickered uneasily. Buildings bled together into a cast iron gray blur. It was as though the images of two different Gothams were battling for supremacy. Two different shades of metallic gray, of hazy purple sunset, of crystalline white from the sinking moon. Gotham was a slowly shattering rose window. But her skyline remained the same.
