Marinette notices that, sometimes, Adrien acts a little out of the ordinary--like the time he stood in a cardboard box for no reason, or when he actually hissed at Nino. It's only when she starts to notice the similarities between Adrien and a certain feline that she begins to get suspicious.
Basically, Adrien acts like a cat when he probably shouldn't.

Summary
When a freak accident sends Marinette into critical condition, the only thing she can think about is Chat Noir. She wasn't going to make it and someone had to tell him. Otherwise, he'd never know what had happened to her--why his lady had never returned. And, as it just so happens, Adrien is there with her near the end, so she decides that he can take the message to Chat just as well as anyone.
No character death, I promise.

Summary
In 2014, HYDRA realizes the danger of using the Winter Soldier against Captain America. HYDRA is taken down, but the Winter Soldier remains Rumlow's. In 2016, Zemo drives a wedge between the Avengers, not through the Winter Soldier's actions, but through irreconcilable philosophic differences. In 2018, Thanos snaps, and Captain America disappears. The Winter Soldier does not.
And most importantly of all, Rumlow is gone.
And so, the Winter Soldier wanders, lost and alone, for the first time in the middle of the Midwest. He comes across a farm.

It was raining. Of course it was raining. A perfect demonstration of Peter’s sour mood. When the door shut behind him it locked, leaving him standing in the downpour. The clouds turned a darker shade of gray as his heart thudded violently against his ribs. The beat became harmonious with thunder surrounding him. It couldn’t get worse, could it?
