Summary
Getting a letter from your dead best friends husband is the last thing you wanted out of your day, but Wilbur needs your help with a war and you don’t have anything else going on but, it’s what Sally would have wanted, and you owe her family a least a bit of kindness, even if it means forcing yourself around the man who killed her, in a place you’ve never been, after you’d sworn off wars.
It’s the least you can do for her.
It’s about what you expect, maybe a little weirder because Wilbur chose a goddamn regime but there are worse places, you hate the stairs, it throws you off balance.
You keep reminding yourself this is for Sally, for whatever Sally left behind and unfortunately that includes Wilbur. You can do it, you can endure it.

The eclipse seemed to drag on forever as a myriad of stars blink back at you, silent and attentive. You measured the sky, laying on the skimwings’s back. Tired and barely focused eyes scanning the koren snatanhìn pointing south, eyebrows knit together.
