“We’re fine,” Jongho tells him. “And you’ll drop me off here, but won’t let me walk five feet to the car?”
“It’s different at the apartment,” Mingi says. “People know you live there.”
“And they know where I go to college,” Jongho points out. “What’s to stop them from trying to take a hit here?”
Mingi doesn’t answer, rolling down the window to deal with the ticket machine outside the parking garage. Once he’s done with that and the window is back up, he answers.
“Because this is Manhattan. None of the gangs that would be out to get you operate here. Plus Hongjoong hyung is in and out of the apartment enough to warrant someone watching it.”
“Good grief you’re getting suspicious,” Jongho mutters as Mingi eases into a parking spot. “Or old.”

"Ahhh what the fuck!"
At Wooyoung's shout, Hongjoong looks up from his phone, craning his head to try and see out the sliding door. When he can’t see anything, he glances back down at his phone, figuring the younger just stubbed his toe or something.
"Hongjoong, there's something in your pool," Wooyoung continues.
"Is it another frog?" Hongjoong asks with a sigh, getting off the couch. He knows there’s no point in trying to get out of dealing with the issue, and he only grumbles a little as he kicks a few empty cans out of his way.
"No it's not a frog," Wooyoung says agitatedly. "Joong you have to come here."

“If we leave the dog,” Ilya said, “you will think about it all night. You will play like shit tomorrow. And then I will have to listen to you be sad about that for a week.”
A defeated sound escaped Shane. “…Damn it.”
After a secluded practice session, Shane and Ilya find a cold golden retriever in the middle of a snowstorm - and a sudden power outage. Shane does not spiral (he does). Ilya absolutely does not get jealous of a puppy (he does).

Style expected anger, he expected Fadel to hate him for this and he definitely expected what had really happened - Fadel detangling himself from Style, getting up and leaving immediately, not bothering to close the door behind himself. Style's hands, suddenly devoid of Fadel’s shirt to hold on to, dropped helplessly onto the blanket as his eyes welled with tears.
