Summary
The younger man was lying there, fetal position, clawing at his neck with one hand and ripping at his hair with the other one. He was gasping for air in between sobs and didn’t even acknowledge Eddie.
„Buck, Buck can you hear me?“
Buck kept on gasping for air, shaking his head as tears continued to roll down his face. His neck was bloody from where he was scratching so hard.
„No, no. You‘re…,“ he breathed out heavily „not real.“
„Hey, hey, hey, I‘m real. I‘m here. It‘s going to be okay,“ Eddie frantically said as he reached forward and pulled Buck into a sitting position, pulling Bucks hand away from where he was hurting himself.
OR
After their fight in the grocery story Buck breaks down at home. Eddie comes to check on him and helps Buck realize that he still matters.

The first tears fall down his cheeks as soon as the door to the loft closes.
He should have known that going to that grocery store was a stupid idea. But as usual, he didn't realize it until Eddie yelled at him in front of everyone. And Eddie... God, he really has every reason to hate Buck. Buck honestly hates himself right now. He made a stupid decision, and it hurt everyone. It's his fault that he's now being hurt by them in return.or:

Now look, Buck knew that Eddie was just angry. Maybe he didn’t even mean the words he said. But even if Eddie thought he didn’t mean it at the time, he must’ve thought it at some point in their time together, or he wouldn’t have said it. I mean come on ‘Trials And Tribulations Of Evan Buckley, A Tragedy In 97 Acts’ You can’t just make something like that up on the spot. Buck tried to convince himself it was just because Eddie watched too many Telenovelas with Chris, but then they didn’t talk about it. Sure he brought Chris back as an apology. But he never actually said he was sorry. What was he sorry about? What wasn’t he sorry about? Did he regret what he said? And if he did, which words specifically? Then Buck started to think it was true.
So from that moment forward, he started to keep track. And for every selfish thing he did, he would do a selfless one to balance it out. Of course it didn’t take the team long to figure out something was wrong.Or
