After that it was the thing with the Iron Shepards, finding their friends, (Molly), then journeying from one side of the continent to another, following impulses until it ended up with them ending a war, ending the plot of not one, but three gods and demi-gods.
Sure, she drank, but she never got drunk.
And she needed the comfort of it now, changed mechanically out of her Expositor gear to something more plain, shrugged off the concerns of Yasha and Caleb and found a grimy bar. She hadn't had as much experience finding bars in Rexxentrum, but she hadn't lost her touch for finding bars where the drink flowed steadily and they didn't ask questions.
She couldn't handle more questions.

Summary
Head wounds were a bitch.
They bled like fuck, even for the smallest cut. A small head wound could easily cover a more major wound on the neck. Otherwise, they never seemed to want to stop bleeding.
Almost worst than that though, was the head wounds that rattled the skull. Even if it didn't lead to brain damage, they still sucked.
