Summary
Summer after the traumatic end of the Triwizard Tournament, instead of Harry Potter getting visions of the latest evil plot from the Dark Lord, it is Voldemort who gets visions of The-Boy-Who-Lived’s childhood.
And they’re not pleasant.
When Newt accepted to become one of Harry Potter's secret guard as a favor to Albus Dumbledore, he hadn't anticipated being faced with a choice concerning the welfare and safety of a child: obey Albus Dumbledore's orders or stay at Voldemort's side to protect Harry.
Though difficult, the right choice was clear.

Summary
Harry Potter was always a little misunderstood, and more than a little abused. Finally, he gets fed up with his lot after a particularly deadly incident with the Dursley’s after his 3rd year, and decides to run away. With few ties to the magic world, and even fewer to the mundane, he makes his way to gringotts bank hoping to grab some money and go into hiding. But the fates and Lady Magic herself have similar, but different plans for our protagonist.

Summary
After the horrors of the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter begins to wonder whether the adults entrusted with his life have ever truly acted in his best interests. After blowing up Aunt Marge, Harry isn’t met with a quiet reprimand or a hasty cover-up. Instead, Mafalda Hopkirk herself arrives armed with the full authority of the Ministry and acting under the watchful eye of Lord Parkinson. What they find is not a delinquent child, but the Boy Who Lived at his breaking point. Appalled by his treatment at the hands of his Muggle family, Lord Parkinson makes a decisive choice: Harry Potter will not go back. Taken into the ancient house of Parkinson, Harry is introduced not only to his inheritance, but also to the old laws of magical Britain, and the truths long kept from him. As he embraces the shadows within himself, Hadrian James Potter becomes something far more dangerous than the Ministry or Albus Dumbledore ever imagined. Where a figurehead once stood--cowed and stooped from neglect--a dark catalyst has emerged, and in his wake, the fate of Britain’s darkest families will be rewritten forever.

Summary
When two boys — twins known for getting in trouble — came to Hogwarts, they were sorted based on their quick wit and cunning. The Sorting Hat didn't ponder the other houses for more than a few moments.
When Hari "Harry" Lilian Potter sees a letter addressed to him, he immediately shoves it through the door of his cupboard to read later. This spurs a series of events ending in Harry finding his own way to Diagon Alley and making a few discoveries along the way.
When Lady Malfoy finds a very young wix with lordship and heirship rings looking at a certain selection of books, she decides that she'll guide him in his research. She makes the final world-changing decision; this boy, whoever he was, would never fall under Dumbledore's manipulative thumb.
Or, the fic I always wanted to read, but none ever had all the right components. This has Fred and George in focus, the politics of lordship and tradition, and a deepdive into magic and its history. (Plus a goddess of magic!)
This is my rewrite/edited version of Light Flickers, Darkness is Eternal. Most of the major changes begin in chapter 2.

Summary
In this AU, Harry Potter isn't the same shy, silent boy—he studies the game and learns to play it better. Guided by instinct and intelligence, he carves his own path through magic, legacy, and power. A slow burn reimagining of Harry’s first year—where survival becomes strategy, friendship is forged in shadows, and the Sorting Hat hesitates for a very good reason.
