But at the same time, they were far from the only people she’d so carelessly hurt, and the more people she realized that was, the harder it became to believe she deserved forgiveness. At this point, the guilt would be eating away at her for the rest of her life like a tumor stuck in her brain, a parasite she couldn’t remove, a helmet she couldn’t get off her head no matter how hard she tried to fight it—
She felt arms curl around her, briefly flinching in surprise. Someone was hugging her. No… two people. And judging by the erratic breathing in her ear, she wasn't the only one crying.
An exploration of the girls' lives and trauma post-Amphibia, starting at the end of the series. Mainly Marcy-focused (since she has the most to deal with) but Anne and Sasha get plenty of attention as well and they all grow closer by helping each other out. I do my best to portray this realistically, so expect a lot of negative thoughts, depressive episodes, and panic attacks. That just makes the wholesome moments better though, doesn't it?

After the Whole Cake Island events, Nami finds herself struggling with acknowledging her feelings for Sanji. She already knew their relationship would never be the same, but the guilt and fear of almost losing him makes things even harder for her.
Not able to stand their awkward situation anymore, she finally decides to talk things over with the cook, only to find him in rather similar, if not worse, conditions than hers.If only they knew how things would turn out, their problems would've been solved way sooner.

Maybe they were friends in another life. Maybe their parents used to take them on playdates at the park, or the beach, and they'd splash together in the water like it was nobody's business and nothing was wrong in the world. They couldn't have been older than three then. Now they were sixteen, and Anne still fifteen by frog law, which meant all they needed was her grandfather's signature. Not hers. And she looked at them with all the heartbreak in the world as they exchanged pen and paper, but she took comfort in what it meant for the frogs of Amphibia, and the war, and her dearest Marcy and the protection the dreaded Sasha was offering them. She might not clearly remember the early days but she knew they'd loved each other, once. Hopefully that would mean something to them.

The Core’s possession goes wrong, and Marcy blindly escapes up the nearest bundle of wires and cables- just not where she wanted to flee. Now, she's trapped in the Core’s abandoned chassis while it puppets her empty body, and it still wants her mind for its collective.

Marcy and Sasha had been at every single one of Anne's birthdays since she had first met them, which is what made it so odd when one of them failed to show. She had probably just forgot, too caught up in her own thoughts and let it slip her mind, typical Marcy, she'll probably show up tomorrow with an apology in one hand and a present in the other, right?

Summary
It had been all but obvious to anyone who knew her that Anne didn’t like boys, but it wasn’t until Amphibia gave her the opportunity for serious self-reflection that she really put a label to it and let it sink in. She came out as a lesbian in eighth grade, shortly after returning and a year before Sasha did, but it wasn’t much of a surprise to anyone at that point.
She was far from obsessed with finding a partner, but she had seemed more open to it and excited about the premise once she began to genuinely recover from grieving Amphibia. She’d dated casually here and there, and Sasha’s opinions about Anne’s dates were widely positive. Even still, much like Sasha, Anne had never exactly qualified any of those instances as serious, so she never seemed to get too attached or torn up when they inevitably didn’t last.
But now there was one girl who seemed to be sticking around.
And, as luck would have it, Sasha did NOT like her.

This the Second Season of my Swap AU fic that started with A Witch in Wartwood. This is a Swap Start AU where the Calamity Trio all end up in each other's locations.
