Summary
In the few short months after Twilight dons the titles Princess of Unity and Amity, she takes it upon herself to make a plan to reform Discord - a creature with a well earned grudge against ponykind, a deep wound within his heart, and much to learn from.
When Discord finally lowers his hackles and quits baring his fangs, he finds that at least some ponies are not entirely terrible, and that the six mares working together with him on this are worth trusting. With Twilight, maybe it’s something a little more than just trust despite the hurdles thrust between them.
Twilight Sparkle is a resilient mare. Odd for a princess, especially odd for an element bearer, she’s nothing like what he’s known of nobility, nothing he’s seen from mages past and present.
Luckily for Discord, he’s always been drawn to the little things that stand out, and Twilight’s endless curiosity renders her just alike.
She gave him a chance even after the events that transpired. Even despite his reputation, his history with her fellow royals, even considering what he was.
It was the first thing he could recall that, as of late, left him utterly stupefied.
