Summary
Robert has always been alone, since the day his papa killed his dad, making him lose both his parents all in one night. Since the day he had been forced to take the mantle of Mecha Man at the age of 15, to keep the family legacy going. Force to keep moving, never staying in one place to avoid being kidnapped by his papa who wants him and the Astral Pulse.
But now both the Mecha suit is destroyed and the Astral Pulse is missing. Luckily for Robert, SDN had promise to rebuild it to the best of their abilities in return of him dispatching for a superhero team. Unfortunately, the team he has been assigned to is the Z-Team, ex-villains trying to become heroes. They are also a bunch of assholes who not only make the job much harder than it should be but make it their job to drag him out of his goal of only being Mecha Man and teaching him to be Robert. Especially Sonar, who slowly finds himself wanting to have the brown eye, freckle face hero by his side forever and to teach him that he doesn't need to destroy himself to gain the approval of a dead man who never loved him.

Summary
No. Robert could never be comforted now. He could never get the relief of knowing why his father raised him the way he did. And it was all Elliot's fault. So, Robert's entire life as Mecha Man had led up to this moment. Every day he spend protecting LA and every night he spent tossing and turning with vivid nightmares and sleep paralysis had brought him to this moment. This life changing moment where Robert couldn't decide whether or not he'd live his ways to regret it. Not that he could think clearly enough right now to weigh up his decision.
So, there was only one way to find out.
