Summary
The toys were not supposed to play favorites, though it was inevitable that there would be those they got along with more than others. They just had to be subtle about it.
It was no secret that the Playcare’s CatNap had a favorite. A quiet, docile child, with absolutely no special attributes except their ability to sneak up on people. A child known known among the toys, staff, and other kids as the purple critter’s best-friend.
But then came the day you were chosen by a family and had to leave. They didn’t even give you time to say goodbye to everyone, much less your friend. All you could do was leave with a promise to a certain feline that you’d be back one day.
And now, eight years after the incident, ten since you left, you return only to find so few of your friends still remain.

Dying wasn't on Amara's list when she was up against a very angry Doey who killed her out of blind anger but waking up back in 1992 wasn't on her list either!
Now back in the year and a day when she first started working for Playtime Co, she thought she was gonna be assigned the role as a regular staff member but nope! It looks like fate had other plans as she found herself as not just an employee of Playtime Co but also the caretaker of the experiments! Such a daunting task would be too much for a regular new employee but not Amara. She knows what the toys went through and she was determined on saving them instead of letting them suffer the events she went through against them.
