Summary
Dennis knows he's not the best when it comes to self-care. Or, he wasn't for a long time. Living with Trinity has made it possible to care for himself again, but sometimes he forgets that he's not alone. That he can ask for help and he doesn't need to work himself into an early grave.
Or, Dennis has trouble asking for help and is going to die on his hill. Until he realizes he shouldn't.

Dr. Robby stops him with a hand on Whitaker’s waist, there and gone. “Really,” he says low, directly into his ear, beard scratching his cartilage, “that was amazing. You didn’t waste any time starting compressions. That probably saved that baby’s life. You saved that baby’s life.”
The praise goes to his head, suffusing him with endorphins. “Thank you, Dad.” And he promptly wants to crawl out of his skin and slither down the drain with the after birth slop.

Shane’s propped up on some pillows, arm in a sling, bruises blooming on his face, squinting against the daylight, but alive. Alive, and conscious, and - not alone.
Ilya swallows, eyes flickering between Shane, two people he recognises as Shane’s parents, and Hayden fucking Pike.
They all look at him with surprise, and a little hostility. Pike actually starts to rise from his chair, poised to, what, defend Shane? As though Ilya would track down an injured player to a hospital bed to cause more trouble?
He’s ready to just turn around and leave, but Shane’s managed to focus his eyes on the door.
“Ilyaaaa!”

The first time that Peter laid eyes on Tony Stark in the flesh, he'd been more than a little starstruck. This was the man who was everything he wanted to be. A superhero who was saving the world every few days. He could build anything at all and had all the resources in the world to do it. The idea that Mr. Stark wanted him, who just patrolled through Queens a couple times a week, made his brain a little dizzy. In that moment, he would've given Mr. Stark anything he'd asked for.
If Mr. Stark had asked, he'd have given up his identity at the time, probably.
Maybe it should've been the first red flag that Tony had let him keep it secret, considering he was preaching to Captain America about transparency and accountability.
