Alex repeated, and Tony's heart was torn apart.
He shouldn't have said that. Even if everyone thought it was the right choice, he shouldn't have believed Obadiah so easily.
"It's not Peter, no body was ever found, so his death isn't confirmed."
"No it isn't, it doesn't matter that there's no body, it doesn't matter that no one saw his death, his father decided to abandon him and declared him dead so he's dead, I'm just Peter Parker." He said in a very cold voice, and Tony froze.

Summary
Peter always knew he was the odd one out in his family. It wasn't like he didn't try, he did try to be apart of the family just when he was younger and it never worked. He was never able to connect with anyone, at least not the way Harley connected with their dad, or the way Morgan had everyone wrapped around her little finger since the day she was born.
Peter was just there, in a way he believed that he wasn't important, not to his family anyway. That was what he always believed, at least before he got his powers and became the one and only Spider-man.
Maybe there was a reason why he was always the odd one out after all.
