"Of course Stargazer. You can always request something from me, you know?" He muttered, chuckling at the way the cold deity practically melted from his touch.
Stargazer didn't answer yet, he wanted to enjoy this moment for a little longer, and if he had the choice he'd stay like this for all of eternity.
"They'll never love you how I do.." He muttered, voice quivering. It was almost unheard, but based on the way Sunburst jumped he knew the other heard it.
He saw the other's hand curl into a fist and his side, shaking from the force of it. He finally raised his head, gazing at the other through his mask. He could see how his eyes softened, but it was distant, like a sun setting on the horizon. He didn't answer, and that silence cut deeper than any rejection.
It hurt.
It hurt so badly.
Or:
Sunburst burns, Stargazer watches.
He can't help but want the warmth for himself.
Fortunately for him, he ends up getting what he wanted.
