Buck’s first shift back at the 118 after the lawsuit was nothing like he’d imagined and Buck wasn't sure how he'd bridge the sudden distance between him and his team. But the disappointment of their brush-off was eclipsed when he came home from that first shift to find an old flame waiting on his doorstep with a choice that was really no choice at all. Buck had no idea how to be a dad, especially without the help of the people he'd come to think of as his family, but he was determined to figure it out; and maybe figure out some things about himself along the way.

Summary
Following the truck bombing Buck is left to her own devices. Eddie shows up to keep her company. Sparks fly between them. Months later at the party following her completion of her recertification she learns something after she collapses at the party. Lawsuit doesn't happen and Buck does the light duty and turns down Mackey. Plus her and Eddie had kept their relationship a secret except for a few people.

Evie helps her true father after making connections with him in 2011. She shows that she has the intelligence of a Stark and a backbone of Iron just like her father. Join her as she deals with having family in the Avengers and the 118 before they finally meet and then even more adventures are happening...there is only one thing that defines Evan Buckley and that is that no matter what she's gonna Buck.

Summary
Evie Buckley was married before becoming part of the LAFD. She didn't like to tell people as right after they married he got shipped over seas for his first tour of duty. She only tells Eddie once he starts at the station. Truths come to light at the most inopportune times for Evie. It's not like she hid her husband on purpose.
