Summary
No longer human was an ability that forged dependance.
Most people knew it as the ability that was only useful against other abilities, but it was much more than that. The ones who had the misfortune of coming into contact with his ability had described it as ‘A loss of something vital’ and told him it was highly uncomfortable.
he knew exactly what they meant, because since the day he was born, he felt like the same vital thing they had all described was missing deep inside his soul.
He had assumed it was a flaw inherent to him, something that had gone wrong in his making, rendering him inhuman and flawed in a way no other could be.Until the day No Longer Human was rendered unuseable.
OR : The day No Longer Human goes out of order and one Dazai Osamu is forced to feel the humanity his ability repressed.

Summary
Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya, the day of Chuuya's depart abroad and their last day together.
Snippet :

Summary

Stanley took the last few steps into the threshold, The Narrator continuing his numerous warnings, all going ignored, as he jumped back into the hallway before the doors closed. He was left to pure silence, something he rarely ever got, The Narrator either talking or the weight of his impatience weighing on the atmosphere in a way no words could.

Summary
“I want to die.” His voice was clear, his breathing laboured as spit made its way down his mouth.
“I know.” Chuuya didn’t touch him as Dazai writhed on the floor, alternating between curling upon himself and trying to snap off his limbs, the painful screech of his screams as he tried to get rid of his pain. It would have been easier, perhaps, if the entirety of his body hadn’t been the cause of his pain but all of the blood flowing through his veins was the cause of his misery.
OR the one where no longer human is a chronic illness as well as an ability.

Summary
Dazai and Chuuya don't realize how intimate their friendship looks to outsiders until the day said outsiders force them to see it.
Snip :
“Hirotsu told me I could find you in the vermin’s office, Chuuya, there are a few things I want you to do as part of your reading training, nothing too important of course.” She was smiling softly as she skimmed over the documents one last time before putting it on Dazai’s desk, not once looking up.
“You can bring them back to me tonight or tomorrow morning, no later than tha-”
That’s when she looked up, the youngest executive of the port mafia was sitting curled up on her proteges lap, head against his neck glaring fiercely at her as if she had personally insulted him, well maybe she did by calling him a vermin and all that, but she hadn’t expected to see Dazai in his office, he never spent any time there.“I’ll deliver them to you tonight while I hand in the idiot’s work to the boss, Kouyou.” He looked so serious and determined that she would have been proud, if it wasn’t for the fact that Chuuya seemed to be petting Dazai’s hair

And this is how one Dazai Osamu started his quest to reduce his life expectancies in 100 different ways (and sadly for Chuuya, he did not leave him alone).
