Kanna had to fight the urge to wrap him up in a hug and never let go. She would respect his space, but spirits, after he said that it was almost impossible to tamp down the instinct.
“Zuko, you never have to apologize for something like that. And you are never a bother.” She reached forward slowly, squeezing his shoulder in what she hoped was a comforting manner. “I know you’ve had a tough go at it. But you’re family now, and not just because of Sokka.”

Link is avoiding the Domain.
That is Yona’s theory, at least - because she can’t necessarily prove he is avoiding the Domain. After all, he is the Hero of Hyrule. The Champion of Champions. And those titles certainly don’t come with much free time, especially after the Upheaval and the disappearance of Princess Zelda. So, the most logical conclusion is assuming the small Hylian just doesn’t have time for galavanting.
Only speculation, the whispers of others, and the ponderings of Sidon himself have led her to believe he might be evading visiting.

Link’s clash with Ganon had not gone as favorably as Sidon had prayed. The hero still drew breath, as far as the letter they had received from the recently freed princess claimed, but he was in a critical condition and was requiring near constant attention from the Sheikah healers who were tending to him. Even the healers were unsure if the young Hylian would survive. He had apparently been lucky (or perhaps strong-willed enough, Sidon believed) to get himself and Zelda on his horse and most of the way to the village the Sheikah called home before passing out from blood loss and finally hitting his pain threshold. Zelda was very clinical in her message, but Sidon was certain it had been a horrific experience, especially considering it was within her first moments of reemerging from that dreaded castle. He could not imagine how she must be feeling. He, himself, was absolutely sick with worry for his dearest friend. He could not imagine losing Link after the hero had come this far! It was unfathomable and entirely unfair! Link had worked so, so hard to get to this point, only to possibly be struck down by the goddess forsaken creature he had been destined to duel and destroy.

He felt at home for the first time in this new lifetime. He would gladly risk his life over and over again if it meant keeping Sidon safe. Even if it meant having new nightmares, having new scars, feeling more lonely than before, losing all his certainties. Because the only sure thing was right beside (and partially under) him, and he didn’t want to let go.
