Victor, despite saving his village, doesn't want to return home. The reason? His aunt told him she should have him defanged. So he hides out at Camp Rayburn, trying to get a hold on his emotions. After a confrontation with Vera, he's left feeling even worse until Nova finds him and takes him to meet her father for some comfort from a parental figure.

That one line stuck out to me, and I couldn't not make an angsty fanfic from it. Like, I'm sorry, being defanged sounds horrific, allow me to make angst from that. There should have been a bit more of a reaction from the vampires after that line.

When Grian was 21 years old, he was taken, and his server destroyed. It had been so long ago, the details were starting to get fuzzy.
When Xelqua was 25 years old, he escaped
(within an inch of his life).When Xelqua was the same age, he was found bleeding out by an Admin. Xisuma. Grian had become player again. Had become one of Xisuma's players.
And now here Grian was again, 29 and making a deal with the devil. His life for his servermates.
What Grian had failed to do at age 29, however, was to think this deal over for more than five seconds.

Summary
Grian had been running for what felt like hours, gliding through the deep void in an attempt to escape the Watchers.
After finally finding a server to hide in he quickly realises that it was, in fact, not abandoned as he had assumed.When Xisuma went to check the new Hermitcraft Server he saw an intruder hack into it - quite literally.
Though it quickly turns out that the intruder was more a fugitive, running away from the very monsters the admin hated with his entire being.Walking a thin line between truth and lie Grian tries his best to cling to the new safe haven to heal up and hide from his captors, making more connections than he had preferred.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
All of the missing moments between Victor and Nova, as they get to know each other despite their peoples’ hatred for each other, and slowly fall in love despite their differences.
He slowly raised his hand, tucking her hair neatly behind her ear, slotting the flower perfectly into place. His hand stayed there, gently cupping her cheek.
His heart pounded in his chest, threatening to jump out of his body when her eyes dropped from his to somewhere slightly lower.
Was this really happening?
He leant forward, giving Nova plenty of time to pull away if she wanted to. She didn’t. Instead, her eyes fluttered closed.
Victor couldn’t bring his own to stay open if he tried.Series
