Yeah, well, we're bringing that back for the live action.

The girl- "Nova", she insists though it's not her name- is suddenly thrust into a world she'd always dreamed of and always wanted, but never could have. She doesn't know why she's here, and she can't imagine she'll be anything BUT a burden, but she's determined to be a part of the story. Or, at least, Luffy is."

Summary
Now that Raz is a Junior Psychonaut, he thinks he's ready for the big time, but when Sasha gets him a place on the Pelican for a simple fact-finding mission, he ends up pitched against the Psychonauts' next world-threatening foe. Escaped convict Grinsmith Forrut "Hornblower" Horatio has perfected a fatal technique he calls the "Mind Bomb" with the goal of killing all Non-Psychics on the planet. Even worse, when the mission goes south and the superstar special agents fall victim to his attacks, it'll be up to Raz to save the day once again. Can he find Hornblower's detonation code before his human bombs go off? And will his mentors still be in one piece when all this is over?
Mostly a Raz and Sasha mentor story. Hurt/comfort for Raz emotionally, Sasha physically, Milla mentally. Oleander ego-ly, I guess? It's hard to keep Oleander down. This one is going to be a long one and there's no update schedule so just be warned about that. Warnings and tags are accurate.
