Ratio closed his eyes, as Penacony's events came back to him in a hurting blur. And yet... He watched as Aventurine lightheartedly greeted the Trailblazer, Jade, and Topaz, as if nothing had happened. He watched as Aventurine greeted him, as if nothing had happened. As if there was nothing between them anymore.
And so, Ratio decided he would give Aventurine a gift. Because he was jealous.

In reality it isn't like that, if not cooking new recipes, Phainon needs Mydei's help, or to be more correct, his dom's help.
That being said the help is to be his lover's sub and used like the good obedient puppy like he is.
Or
Basically Phainon is stressed and he needed to unwind with the help of Mydei's ability in dominating him.
