Derek scowled. “What are you talking about? I summoned you to kill me. That’s the deal.”
“Ehhh, see, that’s where you kinda screwed up.” The demon smirked, rocking back on his heels. “You didn’t summon me for a ‘wish granted’ scenario, buddy. This?” He gestured between them. “This is a bonding ritual. You and me? We’re linked now. Like, forever.”
Derek’s breath hitched. “No. No, that’s not—”
“Afraid so, big guy.” The demon wiggled his fingers, and Derek felt a cold shiver roll down his spine, like something inside him shifted. “See, instead of a simple ‘poof, you’re dead’ deal, you actually tethered your soul to mine. Which means if you die, I die. And frankly, I am way too pretty for that nonsense.”

Stiles is the demon Derek summoned, hoping that the demon would kill him and allow him to escape from hell. However, instead of casting a death wish, Derek accidentally bonded their souls, leaving Derek trapped with a demon for eternity. The Hale family is far from pleased.

Summary
Stiles is just trying to prevent the next supernatural problem from killing his friends. Derek is just trying to keep his pack alive (and ignore the desperation that crawls under his skin whenever Stiles is near).
When Stiles goes into the preserve to investigate a string of murders, he and Derek are kidnapped by an unknown group and locked in a basement with no escape. Each night brings new suffering, and each day they have only each other.
The two will have to learn how to lean on one another to keep their sanity intact, and they’ll have to work together to escape.
Too bad they annoy the shit out of each other.

Summary
