“Man, I think the mold in my apartment is getting to me” I laugh taking a seat next to the two men who have declared me their only sever. “I feel like I’m being followed all the time”
“you have mold?” Steve's face cringes with a look of disgust and worry.
“yeah, and it's apparently not my landlord's problem,” I say taking a sip from the coffee id gotten prior “I've tried to get rid of it myself, but it appears to be a building problem.” I sigh feeling grossed out at the thought of swimming in mold for the next four years.
“you think you're being followed” The man sitting across from me pipes up, his eyes cold and filled with a level of concern I haven’t seen in a man since I told my parents I was being bullied.
“It's probably the mold making me paranoid” I laugh it off, as much as the thought of someone following me scares me, I don’t want to be seen as someone in need of protection. Especially if I am hallucinating it.
